Last month on April 14, 2021, former 50-year-old Australian leg spinner Stuart Macgill was kidnapped by 4 peoples at gunpoint from his house in Sydney, New south wales.
They kidnapped him in a car at gunpoint after which they took him to a remote place and threatened and assaulted him with a firearm, however after one hour they released the former cricketer.
Those 4 men were detained by New South Wales police. Police said that after investigation they have arrested the four men aged 27,42,29, in the morning of Wednesday, he was kidnapped for the cause of money, police added.
Stuart Macgill played 44 test matches for Australia and picked 208 wickets from 1988 to 2008, he retired from international cricket in 2008.
