Star Batsman Rohit Sharma has achieved his all-time best spot in the latest ICC Test Rankings. Rohit is now the No.8 batsman in the ICC Test Rankings. Rohit, who has been in great form in the ongoing test series against England, has entered the top 10 rankings of the ICC Test batsman for the first time in his career. Even when all the other batsman from both India and England sides struggled to save their wicket at the turning pitch of Motera, Rohit Sharma scored 66 and 25* in the first and second innings respectively.

Indian spin duo Ashwin and Axar gained huge points in the latest rankings
The Indian spinners made huge jumps in the ICC Test Bowlers Ranking. India’s legend spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who is the leading wicket-taker in the ongoing test series, has claimed 3rd position in the ICC Test Bowlers ranking. Ashwin jumped four places from the earlier ranking, thanks to his splendid all-around performance in the series so far. Ashwin has dismissed 24 batsmen in the three test matches played so far and is currently the leading wicket-taker in the series. Axar Patel, who had a dream debut at the Chennai Test Match, jumped 30 slots to reach his career-best ranking of 38th. England Pacers James Anderson and Stuart Broad slipped one position and are currently at 6th and 7th position respectively.
