As covid-19 second wave took dangerous form in India, and many players of different teams found covid positive, IPL 2021 is now suspended for an indefinite time by BCCI. BCCI took this big decision as many players and team members like Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier (KKR players), Wridhiman Saha (SRH player), Amit Mishra (Delhi capitals player), and Lakshmipathy Balaji, bowling coach of CSK tested positive for covid.

Teams that have no covid positive players till now don’t want to share the ground with such teams. From the starting of the season, IPL was a topic of controversy among peoples and the media. A country is going through a worse situation right now.

Some people was also comes in the favour of running IPL as it provides the entertainment to the people.

BCCI had taken all the necessary steps to prevent the team members and players from the virus. But their plans have failed now, most obvious reason for this failure should be a bio bubble breach done by someone in the team camp.
