On Sunday, during the 28th match of IPL 2021 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan royals, two alleged bookies entered at Arun Jaitley cricket stadium in central Delhi using a fake accreditation card.
When they were asked about their presence at a gallery of VIP lounge, they could not give any satisfactory answer, after that they were arrested by police.
Police said they use fake card to enter the stadium illegally.
They have been identified as Krishan Garg and Manish Kansal, they are from Swaroop Nagar and Jalandhar respectively.
A case under, the Epidemic Diseases Act and the Disaster Management Act has been registered, and the accused were arrested, the police said they were investigating if the accused are bookies.
